On Friday, February 14, at an event on the campus of East Stroudsburg University (ESU), faculty and members of the ESU student body joined AT&T, and the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry to announce ESU and AT&T’s participation in a first-of-its-kind partnership in Pennsylvania – the Employer Provided Innovation Challenges (EPIC) program. The partnership, which is affiliated with the U.S. Chamber Foundation’s EPIC initiative and was facilitated with the support of the PA Chamber, brings together the university and the telecommunications company as they help pilot a collaborative workforce development solution.

It's a wintry haze of snow at Camelback Resort in Tannersville on Tuesday morning. “We have been making snow the last week and we continue to make it until we see the temps start to rise, so it’s going to be a long stretch for us which we’re excited for.” Senior Events Manager Lauren Brands says they’ve been thankful for the bitter cold this winter season. But have also dealt with a mix of conditions like sleet and freezing rain on the slopes. “When you have those ice storms like there are tree limbs that come down, things like that, and those are things that need to be cleared out of the trails before we open for the day or for the groomers.” Strong winds can also cause a problem for operations.
