The Stroudsburg boys’ tennis team trounced Bethlehem Catholic 5-2 on Friday, March 28, 2025. This win helped the Mounties bounce back from three straight losses to move to 4-5 this season. In the singles play, the Mounties picked up two big wins: 1st Singles – Logan Casebolt (25′) defeated Liam Maloney (26′) in a close match, 3-6, 6-1, and 6-2. 3rd Singles – Mason Ulmer (27′) continued to show up and show out against Tyler Lennert (25′) 6-2 and 6-2. On the doubles side, they carried the latter half of the match, winning three games:

Kiwanis International is a non-profit service organization with members who want to change the world. Key Club International is a branch of Kiwanis for high school students, and more professionally, it is called a Kiwanis Youth Program. It celebrated its centennial birthday on March 23, 2025. Stroudsburg High School’s (SHS) Key Club has more than 100 active members who are ready to volunteer and contribute their time to the club. This club has been around at the SHS for about the last 10 years or more. Nikolaos Kontos is the advisor of Key Club and has been for the past year. The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has demanded the treasury stop minting the penny, according to AP News.  ¨For far too long, the United States has minted pennies which literally cost us more than two cents. This is so wasteful! I have instructed my Secretary of the US Treasury to stop producing new pennies,¨ Trump said in a post on Sunday night on his Truth Social Site.   There are 114 billion pennies in circulation that cost $192 million a year to produce, which makes each penny worth more than its face value of one cent. With Donald Trump in office, the penny will be discontinued. However, this doesn’t mean it will disappear immediately; it will phase out over the next few decades.
