Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Secretary Rick Siger today announced the approval of five new low-interest loans through the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) to support business expansion and boost the economy in Bucks, Lehigh, Monroe, Perry, and Philadelphia counties. The projects supported through these loans will create 256 new, full-time jobs and retain 46 existing jobs.

11/13/23: MVA Results in Injuries at Paradise Valley Rd Near Crescent Lodge

Cresco, PA (November 13, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident (MVA) involving injuries occurred in front of the Crescent Lodge on Paradise Valley Rd, Cresco. The incident was reported on Monday, November 13, at approximately 4:00 p.m. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) unit 11-27 arrived at the scene by 4:08 p.m. and began assisting the injured.

MONROE – Following a recent tragedy involving a resident of Paradise Falls Lutheran Association, Sen. Rosemary Brown (R-40) hosted a community discussion this week with local leaders to encourage roadway safety along Route 191 in Cresco.

“Our community remains heartbroken by this devastating accident along Route 191,” Brown said. “I cannot stress enough the importance of slowing down and paying attention to your surroundings while behind the wheel.”
