The first instinct that comes to mind today when someone asks what the time it is, is to check your phone, or computer, or look up at the digital clock on the wall.
In the 21st century, when technology was developed, digital clocks became more and more popular. Kids are still taught how to read analog clocks, clocks with hands for hours, minutes, and seconds, but teachers fly through the material thinking it isn’t necessary to learn.
With the ability to look at a phone and see the time: Why should it still be important to know how to read an analog clock?

Will breakfast menus increase for customers?
The ongoing egg saga continues with an unusual turn of events. So unusual, in fact, that it made international news and has been impacting our local markets and restaurants.
The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft of 100,000 organic eggs valued at nearly $40,000. PSP Trooper First Class Megan Frazer said, “In my career, I’ve never heard of a hundred thousand eggs being stolen. Rifle heads to state competition
Thursday, February 20, the Stroudsburg Rifle team, led by Tom and Patti Weiss, took their top three shooters, Gavin Dunkelberger, ’25, Isabella Lisnik, ’25, and William Tonnies, ’25, to the Rifle State Individual competition in Hellertown, Pennsylvania. These marksmen have had a successful season, consistently being the top scorers of their team, paving the way for Stroudsburgs’ 8-2 record.
Dunkelberger, the top shooter on the team, shot 100 consistently throughout the season and entered states with experience in postseason competition. With a state run in his junior year, an All-Star appearance, and consistently leading the team in scoring, he was prepared to make a deep run in states. Dunkelberger left with a third-place medal, marking the highest placement in his career and the highest on the team.
“This is bigger than the music”
Do you watch the Super Bowl for the game or the music?
This year, it was the halftime show that had people talking the next day, not the game itself.
The halftime headliner for the Super Bowl can affect the crowd size and viewing numbers for the game. This year, the 2025 halftime show was performed by rapper, Kendrick Lamar.
Lamar emerged in the 2010s and has collaborated with other artists like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and SZA.
The 2025 halftime show attracted more viewers than Michael Jackson in 1993. According to Billboard, Lamar attracted the most-watched halftime show of all time, with 133.5 million viewers. The halftime show attracted more viewers than the Super Bowl itself.
