Arrest made after fight at Camelbeach Waterpark

TANNERSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man was arrested after police say he was involved in a fight at Camelbeach Waterpark in Monroe County. On August 3 around 3:30 p.m., officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were called to Camelbeach for a report of a fight. Through further investigation, officers said they learned that a 54-year-old man from Bronx, New York assaulted another man which led to a fight. Driver wanted after alleged hit-and-run injures 13-year-old The accused was found inside his car and officers also believed he was under the influence of alcohol, police stated.

If approved, the proposed ordinance would amend Part II (General Legislation) of the Barrett Township Code of Ordinances to add a new chapter 370 entitled “Peace and Good Order,” which contains regulations prohibiting disturbances of the peace. At the meeting, the Supervisors will listen to comments by members of the public concerning the proposed ordinance. If substantial amendments are not offered to the draft of the proposed ordinance, the Supervisors intend to consider enactment of the proposed ordinance immediately thereafter at the meeting.
