Pocono Mountains, PA – Youth Infusion, Inc. is excited to announce the inaugural NEPA Youth-Led Leadership Conference, a powerful and engaging event designed to inspire and empower high school students ages 15-18 through leadership development, service learning, and career exploration.
Taking place at Kalahari Resorts from May 6-8, 2025, this conference provides students and the community with a unique opportunity to develop 21st-century skills, network with industry professionals, and celebrate youth leadership. Students can choose to attend the full experience from May 6-8 or participate in the full-day conference on May 7th.
Conference Schedule & Attendance Options
- May 6, 2025 – Welcome Dinner & Networking (Evening Only): A special kick-off dinner where students and attendees will connect, set intentions for the conference, and hear from inspiring speakers.
- May 7, 2025 – Full Conference Day: A packed day of workshops, leadership training, keynote speeches, service-learning showcases, networking, and an interactive sustainability scavenger hunt at Kalahari Resorts.
- May 8, 2025 – Inspirational Sendoff Breakfast (Morning Only): A powerful closing session where students will reflect on their experience and leave feeling motivated to take action in their communities.
What to Expect at the NEPA Youth-Led Leadership Conference
- Service-Learning Project Showcases: Students will present innovative projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Leadership, Career, & Digital Literacy Workshops: Sessions focused on financial literacy, mental health awareness, digital literacy, civic engagement, and career development.
- Networking & Mentorship: Opportunities for students to connect with professionals, mentors, and community leaders across various industries.
- Youth Voice Celebrations: Inspiring presentations and panel discussions featuring young changemakers and influential speakers.
- Resort Sustainability Scavenger Hunt: Students will dive into the world of sustainability with an interactive scavenger hunt designed to showcase Kalahari Resorts' environmental efforts. Participants will explore water conservation systems, energy-saving practices, and waste reduction initiatives, gaining firsthand insight into how businesses can prioritize sustainability.
Community Involvement: Celebrate Young Leaders on May 7, 2025!
We invite the community, businesses, and organizations to join us on May 7, 2025, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM for a special Community Awards Dinner & Global Celebration.
This exciting evening will honor students who participated in the Youth Leadership Advisory Board (YLAB) Program and recognize outstanding youth leaders who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to service and leadership. Three students will be awarded scholarships for their contributions to their communities.
In addition to celebrating youth leadership, attendees will enjoy a diverse culinary experience featuring foods from around the world—a reflection of the global impact and cultural diversity embraced by the conference.
