As Coolbaugh Township DPW begins preparing for the winter weather that is in the forecast, we would like to remind residents that all Vehicles, Basketball Hoops/Nets and all other Equipment/Materials must be removed from the side of the roads and out of the Township Right of Ways. * WHAT...Heavy wet snow possible. Total snow accumulations 4 to 8
inches possible, with the highest accumulations at and above 1500
feet in northern Carbon and northwestern Monroe counties. Lower
elevations may receive significantly less.

* WHERE...Carbon and Monroe Counties.

* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may
down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel

Earlier this month, nine East Stroudsburg University Clear Path Scholars and three professors attended the National Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Scholars and Primary Investigators (PI) Meeting in Chicago.

ESU’s Clear Path Scholar program offers scholarships to full-time students transferring to ESU from community colleges and majoring in STEM disciplines. The program is funded through a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
