Route 611 is Open to Traffic! I’m pleased to announce that Route 611 from Delaware Water Gap to Portland is now open to traffic, thanks to the hard work and collaboration of local, state, and federal partners. After nearly two years, Route 611 has reopened the roadway in a single-lane configuration controlled by traffic signals, bringing much-needed relief to our region. It’s been a long journey to get here, and I’m grateful for our residents and businesses for their patience throughout this process. This collaborative effort has made it possible for us to reopen Route 611 and begin restoring normalcy to daily commutes and local business operations.

EAST STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Law enforcement stated a road in East Stroudsburg was shut down due to police activity.
