Paving Schedule 2019 through 2030 (Tentative)

The Borough of East Stroudsburg has announced the tentative paving schedule for 2019 through 2030.  Having this information available to the utility companies allows utility work to be scheduled accordingly so newly paved roads do not have to be torn up and worked on. Crystal Street Streetscape Project

The Borough of East Stroudsburg is holding a Public Information meeting on September 26, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. to receive public input on the proposed Crystal Street Streetscape Project. Phase one of this Project will make Crystal Street one-way from Analomink Street to Washington Street, Add sidewalk width to both sides of Crystal Street from Analomink Street to Washington Street, add a raised Pedestrian Crosswalk where the current Crosswalk is in front of Trackside and add additional decorative street lighting. Phase two of this project will add a new sidewalk with decorative street lighting from the Prospect Street Bridge down Crystal Street to Washington Street and provide additional parking on the East side of Crystal Street along the railroad tracks. 2023 Yard Waste Collection

2023 YARD WASTE COLLECTION SCHEDULE The Borough offers a bimonthly curbside Yard Waste Pickup Program, which is held from April through October of each year.  Borough crews will pick up yard waste at curbside on the same days of regular recycling pick-ups in the borough according to the schedule below.  Residents may place at curbside for pick up, on these weeks only, a reasonable quantity of woody yard wastes materials from your own property – including tree branches, limbs and cuttings, small bushes (without the root ball), hedges, and tree logs not exceeding five inches (5”) in diameter.  The Borough crews will not pick up leaves, grass clippings, flowers, vines, roots, or garden/vegetable plants as part of these yard waste collections.  The yard waste materials collected will be

2024 Yard Waste Collection

2024 YARD WASTE COLLECTION SCHEDULE The Borough offers a Yard Waste Pickup Program, which is held from April through September of each year.  Borough crews will pick up yard waste at curbside in the borough according to the schedule below.  Residents may place at curbside for pick up, on these weeks only, manageable lengths (no more than 4ft long and/or exceeding 5″ in diameter) tree branches, limbs and cuttings, small bushes – without root ball, hedges, and tree logs that are tied or bundled and stacked as best possible, alongside the road in front of your residence but not on the road pavement. Leaves, grass clippings, flowers, vines, roots, or garden/vegetable plants will NOT be picked up. Collected Yard Waste will be ground up and processed for mulch at the Twin Boroughs Recycling Center.
