Members of the public may view the Proposed Preliminary General Fund Budget on the District Website at www.pmsd.org or at the District’s Administration Center located at 135 Pocono Mountain School Road, Swiftwater, PA 18370. The Board of Education of the Pocono Mountain School District will hold a Regular Meeting on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 6:00 PM. At this public meeting, the school board will act upon the Proposed Preliminary 2025-2026 General Fund Budget and conduct other general business matters. The meeting will also be live-streamed for community members who cannot physically attend the meeting. STROUD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Two people have been arrested after children found living in deplorable conditions with fentanyl in the home, according to Monroe County District Attorney Mike Mancuso. Police arrested Jessica Walters and Robert Nochella, both 35 and of Stroud Township, on various drug and child endangerment charges. Mancuso states that detectives were called to respond alongside Monroe County Children and Youth (MCCY) to a residence located on the 200 block of Cranberry Road on February 6 after a supervisor was concerned that Walters was using fentanyl in the home around children.
