Tonight, the Mountaineers hit the road for the first of two consecutive games against East Stroudsburg schools as they face East Stroudsburg North. After defeating Pocono Mountain West last week, 37-7, Stroudsburg comes into this game riding high with their 4-3 record. If the season were to end today, Stroudsburg would sneak into the District XI 6A playoffs as the final seed, holding the tiebreaker over Dieruff. A key part of Stroudsburg’s newfound success on offense has been with first-year offensive coordinator and playcaller Jacob Cirillo. Cirillo scheme has focused more towards passing the ball, which has been key in the breakout of WR Ethan Dudsak, ’25, who broke the school record for most receptions in a game last week.
