The deadline to provide ID to the Monroe County Board of Elections Office and have your vote counted is by 4:30 pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

How to Get Your Vote By Mail Ballot or Your Provisional Ballot Counted:

Option A: EMAIL OR FAX

Indicate you are writing to provide ID so that your mail ballot can be counted.

   Photo of your ID (see list below)
   Registered voter name
   Registered voter date of birth
   Registered voter address

Option B: IN PERSON

Go in Person to the Monroe County Board of Elections Office, One Quaker Plaza, Stroudsburg, PA 18360, and present your ID during business hours. See forms of acceptable ID below.

   Pennsylvania Driver’s License or PennDOT ID card
   ID issued by the U.S. Government or by any Commonwealth agency: Employee photo identification issued by Federal, Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania County, or Pennsylvania Municipal government.
   U.S. Passport
   U.S. Armed Forces ID: Your U.S. Military ID active duty and retired military ID may designate an expiration date that is indefinite. Military dependents’ ID must contain a current expiration date.
   Student ID: Photo identification issued by an accredited Pennsylvania public or private institution of higher learning.
   Employee ID
   Photo identification issued by a Pennsylvania care facility, including long-term care facilities, assisted living residences, and personal care homes.

If you are unable to go in person, you may try calling the Elections Office at (570) 517-3165 and the County may or may not allow you to provide ID over the phone. When you call, let them know that you need to provide ID over the phone to have your mail ballot counted and why you are unable to come to the office.
