The upcoming bridge/tunnel project on Route 191 in Stroud Twp will potentially exacerbate the risks as drivers will impatiently add significant travel time as they navigate the area roads. Let’s be proactive.The following are proposed solutions:1) Install a series of signs ahead of the intersection, not just the type that is currently in place, with the closest sign a blinking sign that will alert drivers to the intersection.2) Lower the speed limit in both directions beginning 1/4 mile out to 35 mph.3) Install a “ Reduce speed dangerous intersection” sign.
