What is your favorite memory of playing your sport? Why?
My favorite memory would have to be from back in middle school when our coach always made sure we had fun, to such an extent to where after every point when we’d meet in the middle, all the girls would yell something along the lines of “Goldfish” or “Trolli”.
What are your plans for after high school?

Continue to play volleyball at the collegiate level while getting my undergrad degree in Pre-Dentistry.

Last week, Chris Herren came to talk to the seniors of Stroudsburg High School about drug and alcohol abuse. For Herren, it is a subject that hits close to home.

Once touted as the next best thing and was projected to be a 1st round pick in the NBA Draft, Herren’s addiction got the best of him.

After playing two seasons in the league with the Nuggets and Celtics, Herren went overseas. His addiction continued and cost him his basketball career and almost his life.

Since he has overcome his addiction, Herren now goes around and talks to students, personnel, and even professional sports teams about drugs, alcohol, his recovery process, and more.

One of the most dangerous spiders on Earth and most dangerous in North America is called the black widow spider (Latrodectus).

It makes sense why Scarlett Johansson’s character, Natasha Romanoff, is nicknamed after the black widow. The red hourglass design of the spider’s abdomen is depicted in the belt buckle of her costume.

According to Actionpest.com, unlike Romanoff, the spider is rarely known to attack when spotted. If the black widow is not threatened or pressed against skin, it will likely run away.

Black widow spiders have a venom that is roughly 15 times stronger than a rattlesnake’s and, according to some victims, it hurts considerably more.
