TANNERSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY(WBRE/WYOU) — A woman is being accused of stealing a bag at a store in the Pocono Premium Outlets.
According to the Pocono Township Police Department, a theft occurred on October 10, around 12:40 p.m. at the Old Navy store in the Pocono Premium Outlets.
Police say the victim placed her bag on the ground while shopping and a woman, pictured below, picked up the victim's bag.
On Wednesday, October 9, Stroudsburg Volleyball had their last regular season game against Pleasant Valley.
They lost in the fifth set 18-16. The final was 3 sets to Pleasant Valley and 2 to Stroudsburg.
The Bears came in strong, winning the first two sets. The Mountaineers managed to come back and take the next two sets to keep them in the game.
Stroudsburg started the final set slow by being down five at the beginning of the set. Even though they managed to catch up and pushed the set to overtime and over 15, but lost in the end by two.
This was a hard loss for the Mountaineers considering they won the last matchup against Pleasant Valley earlier this season.
This now leaves the Mountaineers ending their season 11-8. This is the best season for the Mountaineers in over five years. Their first game in districts will be on Saturday.
