Chestnuthill Township Invitation to Bid Chestnuthill Township will be accepting sealed bids for the purchase of vacant real property located at1796 Route 209 in Brodheadsville, PA 18322. Tax parcel # 02.3.1.11-1 and PIN 02625803144724. The property is zoned Village Commercial and is listed as 1.1 acres in size on the Monroe County Assessment records. The property is more fully described in Monroe County record book 2420, beginning page 1504. Chestnuthill Township has not obtained a survey of the property and makes no representations or warranties regarding the actual size of the property. This property previously had a structure on it which was removed in 2013, there is a well and septic system on site. Chestnuthill Township makes no representations as to the current condition of well and septic facilities on the properties. Prospective bidders may review the available information for the well and septic system for the property at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building during normal business hours. Bids shall be submitted in writing in a sealed envelope marked “1796 Route 209 Property Bid” and include the offered price and an authorized signature. All bids shall be received at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building 271 Route 715, PO Box 243 Brodheadsville, PA 18322, no later than 12:30 pm on November 8, 2024, and will be opened at 1:00 pm on November 8, 2024. Bids must be good for a period of 60 days. The Bids will be discussed and possibly awarded at the regularly scheduled Township meeting on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 7:00pm or shortly thereafter, at the Township Municipal Building.
