Our Presenter will be Kathleen Sandt, who is a long-time local collector of postcards of the area. She will share with us, not just the postcards themselves, but the stories they contain which is thoroughly entertaining!!
The nostalgic look of the cards and unique stories they tell are a look back in time to the rich history of this area's past.
2024 Our Lady of Victory Church Homecoming Bazaar
Our Lady of Victory Church will host is 2024 Homecoming Bazaar from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, and Saturday, Aug. 3, at the church, 327 Cherry Lane Road, Tannersville.
Enjoy picnic foods, such as potato pancakes, halupki, pierogi, and homemade desserts.

Retired ESU history professor Larry Squeri will present a talk on the history of the Poconos as a tourist destination, the subject of his book: "Better in the Poconos". From the days of DWG as a top tourist destination in the late 1800s, to the heart-shaped tub honeymoon hotels of the 1950s, to the waterpark haven of today, Larry will present how the Poconos was and continues to be a tourist magnet.

Route 611 on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware Water Gap could be reopening soon, much to the relief of officials in Knowlton on the Jersey side.
A temporary, free-standing rockfall barrier will be installed along the section of 611 where the rockslide occurred in December of 2022, closing the roadway.
