THIS IS IT FOR THE GLEN PARK RACE!

It comes with heavy heart that racing at Glen Park will be coming to an end this year.  The Pocono Bike Club will host the Mid Atlantic Super Series Glen Park enduro on Sunday October 20, 2024 . The Glen Park Enduro will treat racers to 5 stages of the Glen's best terrain.  The club will once again be linking up the best trails for the race so expect a challenging course.   Racers will use a single transfer stage and an aid station (sponsored by Stroudsburg's best, The Arlington Diner) will be located along the way.  

The Pocono Mountain Council of Governments will be hosting their Annual Charity Golf Outing on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the Glen Brook Golf Club located at 1044 Hickory Valley Road Stroudsburg, PA. Cost is $85.00 per golfer or $300.00 for a Foursome. Arrival Time is 9:30am with a shotgun start at 10:00am (Deadline to Register is 9/2/24) For more information, please see the attached flyer. The Coolbaugh Township Board of Supervisors respectfully invites Township residents and the public to attend our 9/11 First Responders Recognition Ceremony on Saturday, September 14th at 3 PM. We will gather as a community at the Coolbaugh Township Military Memorial Monument located at the township administration campus at 5520 Municipal Drive, Tobyhanna, PA 18466 to honor the community’s first responders. 

Open mic will be available for those that wish to share their experiences or stories during the tragic events of 9/11.

PUBLIC NOTICE
A Public Hearing is to be held on August 21, 2024, at 9:30 A.M. in the Commissioners’ Public Meeting Room, Room 203, at the Monroe County Administrative Center, One Quaker Plaza, Stroudsburg PA, to allow for public review and comment on the 2024-2025 Human Service Plan for the Homeless Assistance Program (HAP) and the Human Services Development Fund (HSDF). The plan totals $143,702 for the program year from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. The public is invited to attend in person or online via GoToMeeting link on the monroecountypa.gov Event Calendar.

A public meeting will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. in the Monroe County Commissioners’ Public Meeting, Room 203, at the Monroe County Administration Center, One Quaker Plaza, Room 203, Stroudsburg, PA for the review of the Monroe County Children and Youth 2024/2025 Implementation Plan and 2025/2026 Needs Based Plan and Budget. Copies of the Plan/Budget will be available at the meeting.
