This week, I hosted the annual 2023 Senior Expo – offering dozens of senior service vendors and resources to the attendees. So appreciative of the many organizations and individuals who made this event a success. First, thank you to Pocono Mountain School District and their staff for coordinating alongside my staff and I. To the many vendors who attended and shared critical information with our seniors – we appreciate your services in our community.

Madden Continues Support of UPS Workers

Pa. state Rep. Maureen Madden joined her House colleagues representing Philly and southeastern PA to rally in support of UPS workers, who are preparing to strike on August 1 if UPS – which chose to send $8.6 billion of its 2022 profits to shareholders instead of its workers who are the backbone of this company – continues to deny their appeal for better wages and working conditions. Madden pledged ongoing support for UPS workers during every step of negotiations .More at http://www.pahouse.com/Madden
