The VALOR clinic foundation a Pocono organization that helps people who served in the military will be doing something major for some vets today.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
All schools in Pocono Mountain School District are participating in the Community Eligibility
Program (CEP) for the 2023-24 school year, which means all students in kindergarten through
grade 12 are eligible to receive a free breakfast and free lunch when attending school in-person
on school days.
In addition, every household with a child attending a Pocono Mountain School District school
while the district participates in the CEP, of the National School Lunch Program and School
Breakfast Program, is eligible for Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) benefits. The ACP
provides eligible households a discount of up to $30 per month off of their internet bills, as well
as a one-time discount of up to $100 off of an eligible connected device such as a laptop,
desktop computer, or tablet.

- Annual NASCAR race weekend moves up a week from this season to July 12-14, 2024.
- Pocono Raceway coming off a sold-out 2023 Cup race with its largest crowd since 2010.
- CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race moves to Friday evening to kick off the three-day weekend featuring all three of NASCAR’s National Series.
- 2024 renewal and pre-sale campaigns already underway for the NASCAR weekend.
LONG POND, Pa. (October 4, 2023) – Pocono Raceway, coming off a record-setting NASCAR event this season, will have its annual race weekend remain in July for the 2024 season but with a slight shift in the dates.
“The Tricky Triangle” will play host once again to all three of NASCAR’s National Series – the Cup Series, Xfinity Series and CRAFTSMAN Truck Series – on July 12-14, 2024, one weekend earlier than this past season.

Lands’ End Scholarship
