On June 25, PennFuture, Tobyhanna Creek/Tunkhannock Creek Watershed Association, and Tobyhanna Conservation Association announced they filed a Petition to Intervene in two developers’ challenge to Coolbaugh Township’s amendment to its stormwater management ordinance. This amendment, passed in August 2023, increases buffers surrounding wetlands from 150-feet to 300-feet.

Description Please be advised that the road paving project in Coolbaugh Township will begin on August 8th with prepping of the road surfaces. Paving will begin on August 12th (weather permitting). The following roads will be paved in whole or portions: Maple Street, Ross Road, Sussex Drive, Jester Court, Graham Lane, Cayuga Drive, and John’s Way. During this time, road paving crews and DPW workers will be in the area and we ask that you exercise extreme caution, stay alert for stopped vehicles and allow extra time when traveling the roads in the community.
