Due by March 29, 2024, applicants have to be a high school senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale who intend to enroll full time in a regionally accredited college or university in Fall 2024, for a job in the field of Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering. The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. Applicants must have at least a 3.5 GPA and be in this year’s graduating class.
Because this is a need-based scholarship before anything else, all applicant’s Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2022 Federal Income Tax Purposes must not have exceeded $100,000.
Students must also work 240 hours from January 1, 2024, until the commencement of the 2024 fall semester in college. Work can be performed at the recipient’s discretion. Employment must be regularly scheduled work performed under supervision for compensation. Work can be full-time during the summer and/or part-time work.

A $500 award will be given out to 3 seniors who are planning on studying music in college and a letter of acceptance to a university that offers 12 credits in music, music production, or band.
