Students at Stroudsburg High School conducted a monthly fire drill on Monday afternoon, October 21, 2024.  The weather couldn’t have been better as the students guided themselves out of the building during the drill. The temperature was 21° above the average daily high for Stroudsburg. Registering at 77° with clear skies and radiating sun over the Stroudsburg campus. As November approaches, one can only wonder if Mother Nature will favor us with another sunny day for the monthly drill.

Stroudsburg Volleyball takes on Liberty for district quarterfinals today at 4:00 p.m. Throughout the regular season, Liberty beat Stroudsburg 3-0 with close scores for each set. This Mountaineers team strongly believed they have gotten better throughout the season and are ready to win over Liberty. This should be an interesting game that you won´t want to miss.  

Team outlooks for women's college basketball preseason Top 25

Stroudsburg Field Hockey will be playing Parkland High School in round one of the EPC Playoffs. The game will be played at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24. Stroudsburg and Parkland matched up on October 2 and unfortunately, Stroudsburg took a tough 2-0 loss. Stroudsburg is looking to ride their current 6-2 win-loss streak in the last month. Stroudsburg and Parkland are neck and neck in the standing with Stroudsburg being in 5th place at 12-7 and Parkland being in 4th at 14-5-1. This is going to be a game of offense as both teams have had seven games with scoring more than five points, with Parkland scoring 12 or more in four of those. This is a very important game for both teams as there are no 2nd chances. It is either win and move on or go home for the season. The game will be being played at Parkland High School at 4:00 p.m.
