STROUD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say they need help identifying a suspect after he allegedly stole two lawnmowers from Home Depot.
According to the Stroud Area Regional Police Department, on June 24 around 4:54 p.m., officers were dispatched to Home Depot on Pocono Commons Drive for a reported retail theft.
Police say the man pictured below first stole two Dewalt 21-inch push mowers valued at $1,198.00.
At a House Local Government Committee meeting, Pa. state Rep. Tarah Probst speaks in support of legislation that would give local municipalities more tools and resources to address the impact of large construction projects. SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two men have been charged after police say they kidnapped, bound, and raped four women in Monroe County.
According to a release from Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), on Tuesday, June 25, a call was made stating that four women had been kidnapped and that the caller had spotted two of them in a vehicle.
Police would go on to say they found the suspected vehicle at a Walmart in Mount Pocono containing one victim and a suspect, Isaiah Rogers-Keeney. Shortly afterward, a second victim walked out of the store with the second suspect, Davaun Carlon Jackson.
