Paramedic Edward Kaufman (checkered shirt) has sadly passed away peacefully.
Ed was one of the West End Ambulance Corp's longtime EMTs and became one of the first of we 6 original paramedics starting in Monroe County in 1983. PS: He was the first to be dispatched to a Diabetic emergency in Monroe County in March 1983. I was there. Please say a prayer for him and his family.
