ARREST
On July 7th, 2024, at 2209 hours Officers responded to Great Wolf Lodge located at 1 Great Wolf DR for a complaint involving 2 disorderly people at the bar. While enroute, Officers received information that the 2 individuals were intoxicated and attempting to leave with their 2 small children in a white Ford F150 with a NJ registration. As Officers were arriving on scene they received further information that the male had left alone in the vehicle without the other individuals. Officers observed the white F150 leaving the parking lot and attempted to initiate a traffic stop of the vehicle. The vehicle ignored the lights and sirens and continued down Great Wolf DR passing another vehicle and eventually stopping on SR611.
Officers made contact with the operator who refused to identify himself to Police. Officers were able to identify the operator as a 27 year old John Delaney from Allentown, PA. Delaney was instructed to exit the vehicle and Officers observed open containers of alcohol in the vehicle along with Delaney showing multiple signs of impairment. Delaney was placed under arrest and transported to MCCF.
