JACKSON TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— According to PennDOT, Interstate 80 West was shut down between Interstate 380 and Route 115 (Blakeslee) as first responders cleared debris from the roadway.

Beginning at 11:25 a.m., crews had Interstate 80 shut down as they worked on clearing debris from a dump truck rollover. As of 2:30 p.m., the interstate is reopened.

Meet Freshman QB, Jackson Mitchell

The Mountaineer’s won their Homecoming game last week with a dominating performance over William Allen. With a score of 42-0, Stroudsburg matched their season high in points. At 5-4, the Mounties have their eyes on a winning record and the post-season.

As with any successful season, it takes a team effort every week. One key contributor to the team has come from an underclassmen stepping up. 

In 2004, Scott Borchetta, CEO of Big Machine Records, first saw Taylor Swift perform at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe. 

When she was only 15, Swift was signed with Big Machine Records. A year later, she released her first single, Tim McGraw, and her career blew up.
