The Jackson Corners one-room school has been refurbished but has undergone no COVID-19 modifications. It can be seen just as it was more than 80 years ago during an “open house” from 1 to 4PM, Saturday, September 19, 2020. The school is located at 234 Miller Drive, Appenzell – next to St. Mark’s Church. You’re invited to observe the educational surroundings of the Spanish Flu era, and to weigh the pros and cons of that simpler(?) time. No visitation charge and plenty of free parking. Staff from Pocono-Jackson Historical Society will be on hand as hosts. How many of us could say that we're lookin' this good when we're well over 100 years old?----->
