Short term rentals are available in all zoning districts*. However, permits are required. Please see Ordinance 197 for specifications. Please review the application guide and submit your application, required documents and permit fee to Barrett Township. An inspection of the property will then be scheduled. Please see guide and permit application below or visit municipality's website for more details.
*Only exception is if the home is located in a development with an HOA, they may be prohibited by the community by-laws.
