POLK TOWNSHIP PUBLIC NOTICE INTENTION TO ADOPT ORDINANCE
The Polk Township Board of Supervisors shall hold a Public Hearing on June 23, 2025, at 6:15 p.m. at the Polk Township Municipal Building located at 165 Polk Township Road, Kresgeville, Pennsylvania, for the purpose of considering an Ordinance amending the Polk Township Zoning Ordinance.
The proposed Ordinance would eliminate Self-Storage Facilities as defined in Polk code 400-841 as a permitted use in a Commercial Zone, and add the use as a Conditional Use in an R-3 Village Center zone. Such use would continue to be a Conditional Use in a Commercial district.
The Amendment also requires a minimum of five (5) acres for a Self-Storage Facility.
The Board of Supervisors anticipates adopting the amendment at a regularly scheduled meeting commencing at 6:30 p.m.
