Christopher Dubbs, Ph.D., assistant professor of mathematics at East Stroudsburg University, will present two papers at the 45th Annual Conference of the North American Chapter of the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education. The conference will be held October 1-4 in Reno, Nev.
East Stroudsburg University announced this year’s Latinx Heritage Month keynote speaker will be Dr. Damary Bonilla-Rodriguez, national leading authority on leadership development. Her presentation will take place on Tuesday, September 26 at 6 p.m., in Beers Lecture Hall. The event is open to the public at no cost.
MONROE – Following a recent tragedy involving a resident of Paradise Falls Lutheran Association, Sen. Rosemary Brown (R-40) hosted a community discussion this week with local leaders to encourage roadway safety along Route 191 in Cresco.
“Our community remains heartbroken by this devastating accident along Route 191,” Brown said. “I cannot stress enough the importance of slowing down and paying attention to your surroundings while behind the wheel.”
Mount Pocono Borough Council is accepting letters of interest to fill an open seat on the Borough Council.
