It would allow the removal of a person's firearms with no due process, the subject of such orders is typically informed of the action through the execution of a no-knock warrant at their home. Don't be fooled by supporters of this bill who refer to it as "extreme risk protection orders" - this legislation would bring RED FLAG LAWS to Pennsylvania.

SCRANTON – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Walter Kenneth Parfaite, age 35, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 72 months’ imprisonment by U.S. District Court Judge Malachy E. Mannion for possessing with intent to distribute 5 grams and more of methamphetamine.

Stroudsburg is the only town in Pennsylvania that is dissected by Interstate 80. The highway literally runs through the center of town, cutting Stroudsburg and South Stroudsburg in two.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Engineering District 5-0, in coordination with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA) document in accordance with 23 CFR § 771, and the National Environmental Policy Act.

STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A long-standing plan to transform Interstate 80 in Monroe County may finally be underway soon, but not without some input from the community.

28/22 News Reporter Emily Allegrucci was at an emotional town hall meeting in Stroudsburg Thursday evening where some big concerns were brought front and center.

PennDOT’s reconstruction plan for I-80 was discussed and dozens of members of the community voiced their opinions and hoped to make a change.
