Troopers Investigate 'Terroristic Threats' Toward Monroe County Wawa

The Wawa at 1781 Route 209 got the calls around 10:30 p.m. Friday, April 19, troopers said.

The store was temporarily closed and employees were evacuated while police "conducted a walk-through and assessed the building," according to the release.

Nothing suspicious was found and the store reopened, police said.

The matter remains under investigation by PSP's Fern Ridge station.

Women wanted in alleged $3K Poconos retail theft

POCONO TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Two women are wanted in an alleged $3,000 theft from a store at the Pocono Premium Outlets.

The Pocono Township Police Department announced they are seeking help in identifying the suspects pictured below.

According to police, the two individuals above were involved in stealing $3,000 worth of product from the Sunglass Hut at the Pocono Premium Outlets on April 20.

Monroe County non-profit helping Haiti
