The Borough of East Stroudsburg performs curbside pickup of Christmas trees. The public works department goes through the Borough two times each week for the month of January (beginning in 2023). Trees should be placed at curbside before 7:00 a.m. of collection day. Trees must have all decorations, including tinsel and garland, lights and stands removed in order to be picked up.

Due to unforeseen events, the candle making activity that was scheduled for December 20th at 4pm is now a take and make activity. Two Wednesday's a month, Pocono Mountain Public Library hosts a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) activity. The Borough of Mount Pocono will receive sealed bids for municipal solid waste collection and disposal services, curbside recycling collection and processing services; and leaf/yard waste collection and processing services at the Mount Pocono Borough Office, 1361 Pocono Boulevard, Suite 100, Mount Pocono, PA until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. The bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at that time. It is the bidder’s responsibility to have all bid proposals delivered on time. No late proposals will be accepted.
