East Stroudsburg University’s College of Education and the Council for Exceptional Children hosted a community painting day. Children of all ages came to ESU’s campus on Saturday, April 26 to create a work of art to share with their class or teacher. Photos from the event can be found on ESU’s Flickr Page.

MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say two teens went on a crime spree across Monroe County, leading to shootings and burglary incidents. On April 26, around 5:00 a.m., state police say they were called to Fairview Circle in Chestnuthill Township, for the report of a house window being shot at sometime overnight. Two people were home when the shooting occurred. Throughout the morning, several incidents were reported to state police that were similar to the shooting and close in proximity. LAPP Structures, an outdoor shed dealer on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township, was reportedly burglarized. Police stated the main office was "in complete disarray" with items "destroyed and thrown." Remnants of fired fireworks were seen, with black gun powder covering the floor, officers said.
