Arrest made in deadly Stroudsburg stabbing
STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man has been arrested after police say he stabbed and killed another man during a fight in Stroudsburg.
According to the Stroud Area Regional Police Department, officers were called to the 300 block of Main Street around 4:15 p.m. for a reported stabbing.
Through further investigation, police said the victim arrived at the home to drop off his children to their mother.

Justin Martinez, 30, is charged in a stabbing that killed a 41-year-old man Sunday, according to police.

Man charged in fatal stabbing in Stroudsburg, police say
A fight between two men during a custody exchange in Stroudsburg ended in a fatal stabbing, leaving a father dead, police said.
Justin Martinez, 30, fatally stabbed Robert Lozano III, 41, of Stroudsburg during the altercation about 4:20 p.m. in the 300 block of Main Street, Stroud Area Regional police said in a news release.
Lozano was dropping his children off with their mother when Martinez, the mother’s brother, met him on the front porch and they began fighting, according to the release.
Witnesses told authorities the fight began on the porch before the two fell to the sidewalk, police said. Lozano was found there suffering from multiple stab wounds to his neck and upper body, the release states.
The ground was covered in blood and a steak knife was found near the porch, according to authorities. Martinez called 911 and said he stabbed a man, according to the release.

The Mountaineers jumped on the prowl early, scoring three touchdowns on offense in the first half. Austin Herman, ’25, scored the first touchdown in the game in the first quarter.
The first-half scoring was highlighted by an Ethan Dudsak, ’25, receiving touchdown right before the half came to a close.
Jalen Taylor, ’25, had himself a game as well, catching a touchdown as well as securing an interception in the first half.

Dudsak would play a factor again, getting a safety on a poorly executed punt play by West, pinned up against the end zone.
