NOTICE NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners of the Township of Pocono, in Monroe County, Pennsylvania (the “Township”), at its meeting held on April 23, 2024, enacted an ordinance (the “Ordinance”), the cap-tion and summary of which is as follows: “ORDINANCE NO. 2024-03 OF THE TOWNSHIP OF POCONO AUTHORIZING AND SECURING THE IS-SUANCE OF A GENERAL OBLIGATION NOTE IN THE MAXIMUM PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $5,175,000, PURSUANT TO THE PENNSYLVANIA LO-CAL GOVERNMENT UNIT DEBT ACT, TO PURCHASE AND RENOVATE A BUILDING TO BECOME THE TOWNSHIP’S MUNICIPAL COMPLEX, AND TO PURCHASE PROPERTY FOR RECREATIONAL OPEN SPACE; ACCEPTING A BANK LOAN PRO-POSAL; SETTING FORTH THE TERMS AND SUB-STANTIAL FORM OF THE NOTE; PLEDGING THE FULL FAITH, CREDIT AND TAXING POWER OF THE TOWNSHIP TO SE-CURE THE NOTE; AP-POINTING A SINKING FUND DEPOSITARY; AND AUTHORIZING RELATED ACTIONS AND DOCUMENTS.”. The purchase price of the General Obligation Note is $5,175,000 (100% of the principal amount), and the annual interest rate (and yield to maturity) payable on the Note is fixed at 4.344%. The enacted Ordinance, no amendments having been made, is available for public inspection at the Pocono Township Municipal Building located at 112 Township Drive, Tannersville, Pennsylvania, on any open business day of the Township between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
