Notice is hereby given that the Milford Borough Council will conduct a Public Hearing, and thereafter may vote upon and potentially enact an Ordinance to Amend the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance of Milford Borough. If passed, the Ordinance would constitute a comprehensive amendment to that ordinance in providing for the following: Adding definitions of Applicant, Developer, and Easement; Adding provision for interpretation of the Ordinance; Permitting certain construction upon preliminary approvals; Eliminating superfluous language relating to a subdivision committee; Removing general policy language related to amendments; Removing language regarding review and approval of conversions from multi-family residential to single family residential; Simplifying language regarding violations and remedies to adopt provisions of the state MPC; Specifying procedural requirements for lot improvements; Clarifying timing and procedures for submission of applications for planning commission review, and establishing a firm 'submission date'; Clarifying the number of copies of an application and supporting materials to submit; Establishing that fees for application shall be set by the Borough fee schedule; Specifically Allowing performance bonding as a condition of approval; Amending the specific dimensions of plan submissions; Specifying sewage planning reviews required for plan approval; Allowing requirement of a developer's agreement; Requiring that plans be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan. A copy of the proposed Ordinance is available for inspection at the Borough Office, 501 Broad Street, Milford, during regular business hours. The Hearing shall take place on February 18, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Milford Borough Hall, 109 Catharine Street, Milford, Pennsylvania. Joseph Dooley, Council President Jason R.
