Two accused of distracting employees to steal at the Crossing Outlets

TANNERSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are searching for two men who they say distracted employees to steal from a clothing store at the Crossings Outlets. According to the Pocono Township Police Department, officers were called to the Hugo Boss store in the Crossings Outlets for a reported theft on Sunday around 4:00 p.m.

Fountain Court Fire Disaster Resources | Pocono Township

The Small Business Administration has established a Business Recovery Center (BRC) at the Pocono Township municipal building (112 Township Drive) to assist all businesses affected by the June 25, 2023 Fountain Court fire. Resources provided include low-interest Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) through the U.S. Small Business Administration. The culprit was spotted Thursday as northerly winds drove wildfire smoke in Canada down into the Upper Midwest. Forecast models suggest it could now swing back into the Great Lakes and Northeast by Friday, according to the FOX Forecast Center. As of Thursday morning, there are 107 fires burning in Quebec, the province’s fire agency reported. In northern Ontario, there are 63 active fires.

The East Stroudsburg Borough Water Department will begin flushing all fire hydrants in the Borough’s water service area beginning Monday, October 4 through Friday, October 8, 2021. The crews will be flushing at various times and locations throughout the Borough. This program is a necessary distribution system maintenance function in which sediment is expelled from the distribution system by opening fire hydrants and flowing them until the water appears clear. The flushing program also allows Water Department personnel to assess the proper operation of the fire hydrants.
