Watch: Pennsylvania State Police news conference on Bryan Kohberger arrest in Idaho murders

Pennsylvania State Police held a news conference Tuesday afternoon on the arrest of Idaho murders suspect Bryan Kohberger in the Poconos last week. The news conference was held at the Monroe County Courthouse, where Kohberger earlier appeared in court and waived his extradition, setting the way for his return to Idaho to face murder charges in the killings of four University of Idaho students.

FIRE HYDRANT FLUSHING 10.4.2021 – 10.8.2021

The East Stroudsburg Borough Water Department will begin flushing all fire hydrants in the Borough’s water service area beginning Monday, October 4 through Friday, October 8, 2021. The crews will be flushing at various times and locations throughout the Borough. This program is a necessary distribution system maintenance function in which sediment is expelled from the distribution system by opening fire hydrants and flowing them until the water appears clear. The flushing program also allows Water Department personnel to assess the proper operation of the fire hydrants.

Nicholas John Taylor Detectives from the Monroe County Office of the District Attorney, Criminal Investigation Division (CID), arrested and charged Nicholas John Taylor, 23, of Polk Township, with child pornography and related offenses Monday afternoon.

Stroudsburg woman arrested in fatal overdose

Nachelle Davis Nachelle Davis, 50, of Stroudsburg, has been arrested and charged with drug delivery resulting in death, involuntary manslaughter, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility in the January 2020 death of Ashley Pinero.
