POCONO TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A driver of a dump truck has been flown to the hospital after crashing in Monroe County.
The Pocono Township Fire Department tells 28/22 News that crews were called around 11:00 a.m. Monday to a vehicle crash with someone possibly trapped on North Easton Belmont Pike.
Pocono Township Fire DepartmentCrews on the scene stated a dump truck rolled over, the driver was injured and stuck in the vehicle. The Pocono Township Volunteer Fire Company assisted with extracting the driver and truck up the embankment.
Pocono Township Fire Department said the driver was flown to the hospital as a result of the crash, his current condition is unknown at this time.
