ARRESTDetails MapOn July 21, 2024, at approximately 2000 hours, Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to a noise complaint at a rental property in Pocono Manor. Upon arrival, officers were able to hear extremely loud music from the roadway. Officers made contact with 26-year-old Demetrius C. Velazquez of Mount Pocono. While officers attempted to conduct their investigation, Velazquez refused to provide his identification or cooperate. Velazquez was ultimately taken to the Monroe County Correctional Facility for processing. Velazquez was charged with Obstruction of Justice and Disorderly Conduct.
