ARRESTDetails MapOn April 26, 2025 at 1606 hours, Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to Great Wolf Lodge for a report of a disorderly and irate customer threatening to physically harm staff. Upon arrival, officers made contact with 41 year old Shamika Simon of the Bronx, New York. Through investigation, it was determined that Simon was threatening physical harm on multiple staff members and attempting to get behind the counter at the bar due to being unhappy with their service. Simon was asked multiple times to stop acting disorderly and refused to do so. When speaking with police, Simon misrepresented her identity, after being told that this was an official police investigation. While being escorted off property, Simon dialed 911 and made false statements to the Monroe County Control Center. Simon was ultimately escorted off property where she continued to be disorderly.
Simon is being charged with Terroristic Threats, Misuse of 911, Disorderly Conduct, and False Identification to Law Enforcement.
