NOTICE TO BIDDERS SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by the Chestnuthill Township Board of Supervisors until 9:00 a.m., on Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building, P.O. Box 243, Brodheadsville, PA 18322 for the following: In Place Paving on various roads located in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County 10,845 Tons of 9.5mm Superpave, WMA 180 lb/sy Wearing Course 50,491 LF 4 Double Yellow Center Line with Glass Beads All materials must meet PENNDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders may be either a PENNDOT prequalified Prime or Subcontractor and must supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposal forms, specifications and bid information can be obtained at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building at the above address or by calling Mike Manfre at 570-992-7247, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. All bidders should review the project with the township. For further information contact Dave Scheller or Mike Manfre at 570-992-7247, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Chestnuthill Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract and a certificate of liability insurance acceptable to the municipality prior to the start of any work. All bids will be opened publicly and read at approximately 9:15 a.m., on Monday May 12, 2025, at the Township Building. The bids will be presented to the Board of Supervisors at the regular scheduled meeting of the Chestnuthill Township Board of Supervisors on Tuesday May 13, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows. The Chestnuthill Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
