ARRESTDetails MapOn July 15th, 2024, at approximately 02:27 a.m., officers of the Pocono Township Police Department were on routine patrol near Interstate 80 West and Exit 299. An officer observed a vehicle cross the white fog line several times, before getting off at Exit 299. On the ramp the officer observed the vehicle to cross the white fog line again and not come to a stop at the stop sign at the intersection with Route 715. The officer then conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver and defendant, Josue Joseph, of Irvington, New Jersey.
A subsequent DUI investigation followed, and field sobriety tests were conducted. The defendant was found to be impaired enough to render him incapable of safe driving. The defendant was then arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic offenses.
