ARRESTDetails MapOn May 6th, 2025, an officer with the Pocono Township Police Department was on routine patrol on Rt 715 near the intersection with Rt 611 in Tannersville, PA. The officer observed a white Lexus sedan traveling in the opposite direction and saw that it had a non-functioning tail light. The officer initiated a traffic stop on that vehicle and spoke with the driver, Sixto Escobar-Arizmendi, a 55-year-old male from the Easton area. Through the investigation it was found that Escobar-Arizmendi's driver's license was suspended as a result of previous DUI offenses. Escobar-Arizmendi was also placed under arrest for DUI. Charges have been filed in relation to this incident.
