ARRESTDetails MapOn July 31, 2024, at approximately 7:50 AM The Stroud Area Regional Police Department was dispatched to Lowe’s located at 5027 Windsor Drive, Stroud Township, Pennsylvania for report of a retail theft in progress. Prior to arrival the loss prevention employee advised that the three suspects were responsible for at least two other similar thefts that occurred at Lowe’s stores in Rhode Island. Upon arrival Officers took Maikel Ruben Corros-Ramos DOB: 05/28/1997, Jonathan Lara-Alvarez DOB: 07/09/1996, and Mayker Yohan Ortiz-Arias DOB: 04/12/1998 all of New York City, into custody for removing 19 DeWalt batteries valued at $3600 from the store. Through investigation it was learned that all three defendants coordinated to come to Monroe County specifically to steal merchandise and resell it. Charges were completed and all three defendants were arraigned in front of District Magistrate Paul Gasper and are currently being held at the Monroe County Correctional Facility on $75,000 secured bail.
Maikel Ruben Corros-Ramos was found to have an active arrest warrant in Warren County, New Jersey and was given an additional $50,000 secured bail on the warrant.
