Anna Kirby, ‘25, competed in the PA State Swim Championships in March, culminating one of the greatest swimming careers in Stroudsburg history. 

This was her second time competing at the prestigious event, a testament to her skill and dedication to the sport. In her first time last year, Kirby placed in the top 20 in the 50 freestyle and was not able to qualify for the 100 freestyle.

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — 28/22 News has an update to a strange incident at a Monroe County school earlier this month, in which a Stroudsburg area staff member was suspended for taping the mouths of children.

Officials and parents were hoping to get a clearer picture of what happened in a private meeting on Tuesday, but according to one parent, it only made the situation more confusing.

Reporters were not allowed inside the meeting inside the Hamilton Elementary School, but 28/22 News did speak to a parent who was there.
