Eastern Monroe Public Library Presents: A Free Screening of Malcolm X
Join us at the Eastern Monroe Public Library's Word & Film program for a special screening of Malcolm X, directed by Spike Lee. This biographical epic chronicles the life of the controversial and influential Black Nationalist leader, from his early days as a small-time gangster to his role in the Nation of Islam and his tragic assassination. Featuring stellar performances by Denzel Washington, Angela Bassett, Albert Hall, Al Freeman, Jr., and others.
Please note the film is rated PG-13 for a scene of violence, drug content, and some language.
