Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony

The Coolbaugh Township Board of Supervisors respectfully invites the Township residents and the public to attend our Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony on Saturday June 1st at 3 PM. We will gather as a community at the Coolbaugh Township Memorial Monument located at the township administration campus at 5520 Municipal Drive, Tobyhanna, PA to honor and pay homage to our fallen military men and women. 

A special dedication and presentation will be made to remember former members of the Township Veterans Committee, Jason and Georgette Wenton who we lost in 2023.

Community Yard Sale (Coolbaugh Township Historical Association)

The Coolbaugh Township Historical Association will be holding a Community Yard Sale on Saturday, August 10, 2024 with a rain date of August 11, 2024 from 9am-3pm at 5590 Municipal Drive, Tobyhanna, PA. To reserve a space please contact Mary Ellen at 347.267.6440. VFW Post 509 will be serving lunch and refreshments.

NEPA Gives: Monroe Launch

Join 19 nonprofits in Monroe County as we launch NEPA Gives at the lovely Willow Tree Inn in downtown Stroudsburg!! There will be light refreshments and cash bar, signature food and drink specials and lots of swag goodies! We will be linked with NEPA Gives headquarters on Facebook Live and ready to kickoff donations at 7pm so bring your smart phones and enthusiasm!

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Pocono Township Zoning Hearing Board will conduct a public hearing on Thursday,
April 25, 2024, beginning at 5:00 P.M. at the Pocono Township Municipal Building, 112 Township
Drive, Tannersville, PA 18372, to consider PoconoPlaces, LLC’s appeal from three Enforcement
Notices issued by the Pocono Township Zoning Officer on February 20, 2024. Those Enforcement
Notices alleged that the Appellant violated the following provisions of the Pocono Township
Zoning Ordinance: (1) §470-121 by establishing a salvage/junk yard on the subject property
